Jonathan Crane's equalising goal wasn't enough to keep Latics in the Youth Alliance Cup, as their opponents ran out 2-1 victors.
Despite being in a good run of form Dave Watson's team were not at their best, but still managed to work their opponents until the end, and will now focus their attentions on the Youth Alliance League.
