Wigan Athletic's first domestic pre-season action takes them to Boundary Park to take on Paul Dickov's Oldham Athletic.  If selected, it's Latics fan's first opportunity to see Argentinean striker Mauro Boselli along with on-loan goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi.

Dickov, who is still a registered player, joined Oldham in June after agreeing a 1 year rolling contract.He also has plenty of experience to call upon, including that of 36 year-old captain Sean Graegan who made 49 starts for the Club in the 09/10 season.

Team News

Gary Caldwell and Titus Bramble are the only two first team players expected not to play any part in tonight's action, both having undergone minor surgery in the summer, although both are making good progress.  It's likely that both managers will be using this fixture to run the rule other most of their squads.

The two sides last met in the 2002/03 season when Wigan managed a comfortable double over Oldham, then managed by Iain Dowie.In the home fixture, two goals from Jason Roberts and one from Jimmy Bullard sealed the 3-1 win.The 2-0 win at Boundary Park was won by means of goals from Nathan Ellington and Jason De Vos.
