HALF TERM SOCCER SCHOOLS

Wigan Athletic Community Trust will be delivering 20 individual soccer school courses this February half term at two separate venues.
All our coaches are fully F.A Qualified, CRB cleared and hold the relevant First Aid and Child Protection certificates, and discounts are available for multiple bookings: enquire on 01942 824599.
Choose Your Course!
Generic Coaching.
Children will participate in a chosen themed topic, eg. passing or turning and will progress through from a technique, to a skill, to a small sided game. This will be followed by fun games and small sided football matches in the afternoon. Fantastic prizes are to be won on completion of the course.
Total Football.
A whole day packed with football tournaments, where children are placed into teams, given team names and play for points. It may be a 'Premier League' tournament in the morning followed by a 'World cup' in the afternoon! Fantastic prizes are to be won on completion of the course.
Coerver Coaching.
Widely recognised as the world's number one method of teaching football skills, coerver coaching allows children to practice skills step-by-step on their own, working towards an afternoon of action in small sided games. Fantastic prizes are to be won on completion of the course.
*NEW* Little Latics.
Wigan Athletic Community Trust's newest course will be a 2 hour session in which your child will learn basic football skills with a small football - with the aim of increasing balance and coordination. Parents are welcome to stay and observe, and prizes are to be won on completion of the course.
Striker.
This course will improve your child's shooting ability. Your child will practice different techniques of shooting and all other areas to improve awareness and movement, on and off the ball. Numerous coaching equipment will be used on this course and fantastic prizes are to
be won on its completion.
Goalkeeping.
This course is perfect for goalkeepers who are looking to improve their techniques and abilities. Players will learn the different ways to shot-stop, distribute the ball and deal with set plays (eg. free kicks, penalties and corners). Fantastic prizes are to be won on completion of the course.
